Professor Zhong Hong introduced the current trends, key points, difficulties, and cutting-edge achievements in the development of flotation reagents to the research and development team of the company's technology R&D center. He also had in-depth discussions with the company's R&D team on the development of new reagents and processes.

In 2013, Professor Zhong Hong was responsible for the national 863 program project "Targeted Molecular Design and Green Preparation Technology of Flotation Reagents for Non-Sulfide Ores," having applied for 11 national invention patents and published 19 academic papers. During his time at Tiefeng Company, Professor Zhong Hong discussed the cooperation to build a pilot production line and industrialization base for new oxidized ore collectors with the company and reached a preliminary agreement.
