On September 15, our company organized the second round of annual safety, environmental protection, fire safety, and occupational health training and emergency drills during the production downtime caused by the maintenance of the power supply lines.
This training and emergency drill were organized by the company's Safety and Environmental Protection Department.
In the morning, the company's deputy general manager Yi Fugang provided an in-depth interpretation of the changes in the newly revised "Production Safety Law" content and requirements. This further enhanced the awareness of safety responsibilities among all employees and encouraged their initiative and consciousness in participating in overall safety management and improving the quality and level of safety management. Guided by the newly revised "Production Safety Law," the current state of the company's safety management work was reviewed against the new standards and requirements, clarifying future work goals and tasks. The heads of the company's environmental protection, fire safety, and occupational health management departments delivered presentations on the objectives, regulatory requirements, and supervision of various tasks.
In the afternoon, according to the emergency drill plan for safety, environmental protection, fire safety, and occupational health developed by the company, a drill for handling a carbon disulfide raw material leak was conducted. Before the drill officially began, the head of the organizing department gave a brief mobilization speech, clarifying the purpose, requirements, and specific arrangements for the drill. During the drill, participating employees practiced on-site leak sealing, the use of positive pressure air respirators, and the donning and use of protective clothing according to the drill plan, testing the effectiveness of the company's emergency response plan and various measures for safety, environmental protection, fire safety, and occupational health, further improving the emergency response capability for on-site accidents, achieving the set goals, and obtaining good results.
