25# Black Medicine
This product has both collecting and frothing properties. It is an effective collector for sulfide minerals such as lead, copper, and silver, and is commonly used in the preferential flotation separation of lead and zinc. In alkaline media, its collecting ability for pyrite and other sulfide iron minerals is weak, but in neutral or acidic media, it serves as a strong non-selective collector for all sulfide minerals. Due to its limited solubility in water, it must be added in concentrated form to the flotation stirring tank or ball mill.
